Will Dev be able to find out the reason behind Vaani’s departure? Or will Carol come back to his life again?

MY REVIEW:
'It’s got to be love' is a story of love, affection and friendship. Although, I was intrigued with the blurb of the book, I was very disappointed after reading it.

In the blurb, it was written that the protagonist, Dev, has a unique ability- he has nightmares which comes true. But, I don’t know why the author has included this part, because I don’t see any reason behind this inclusion. It could have been better, if the character would have done something about it, to focus on why it was happening to him.

Now, regarding the characters of the story, I clearly didn’t like Dev at all. He is running after the girl (Carol), who is not much interested in him, crying innumerable number of times as to why she was not reciprocating his love, when he had such loving and supportive family and friends. I liked the characters of Vaani, Amrish and Vikram who always listened to him, and helped him out.

The writing style of the author was simple and lucid, and the narration was more or less predictable.

Overall, it was an okay read for me. If you like teenage love stories, then you can go for it.

* I received an E-book from the author in exchange for an honest review*
