BLURB:
Kartik fell in love with Ashima the very first time he saw her. She was everything he had ever imagined in his dream girl – his angel. As their friendship blossomed into deep love, culminating into marriage, he became her teddy, her confidant and eternal support. But in trying to be with her, Kartik made a choice that broke his father’s heart and hopes.

As Kartik and Ashima gear up to step into the next phase of their relationship, life seems like an overload of joy and love. He is confident his love for Ashima will win overall odds, even his father. Little did he know that things were going to change drastically, forever.

Why does Ashima marry someone else? Why does Kartik accept it silently? And why is life so unpredictable?

MY REVIEW:
"I Am Always Here With You" by Himanshu Rai is romantic fiction, a love story of Kartik and Ashima.

The story goes like this- When Kartik moves to a new school in Dehradun, he meets Ashima and gets immediately attracted to her. As they started spending more time together, their friendship grew, which soon blossomed into love, which in turn led to their marriage after a few years.

The story begins with Kartik and Ashima happily married and is expecting their first child. But then something terrible happened which changed their entire course of life!

What happened to them? To know about it, you need to read the book.

As you can see from the blurb stated above, 'I Am Always Here With You' revolves around two people, Kartik and Ashima, their love story and everything that they go through in their relationship together. The author has most importantly tried to portray the emotional aspects of these two characters in front of his readers. The narrative style and language were simple but there were quite a few cliches. The dialogues were cheesy and I felt as if a Bollywood romantic drama is playing in front of me!

Although the author has tried to incorporate some twists and turns in the story, once halfway through the book, the story becomes quite predictable. Also, the book needs to be properly edited as I could spot many grammatical errors here and there.

All in all, 'I Am Always Here With You' was an okay read for me. It is a short book of about 191 pages and can be finished in 1-2 sittings. Readers who like reading love stories/romantic fiction and don't mind some cheesy dialogues, they can give it a read!
